Navy dress + navy tights + navy boots = too much?

I think it's probably too much navy to go with the dress.

But I'm not sure about black tights with that if I'm going to wear navy boots.

Or perhaps I should just wear black tights and black boots with it

Ok so it’s not totally navy which helps.

Personally I’d go with natural tights. But that’s just me - I don’t usually dress head to toe in one colour, ever. Not even in black.

As others have said, they’d happily wear it and if they can, you can too. It just depends on how you would feel - if you’re self-conscious about it being too much then that will come across in your manner. If you dgaf and quite like it and feel good in it then definitely wear it!

Regarding not wearing tights at all, and just wearing long socks, I thought it was the done thing to wear tights with knee high/over the knee boots as to do not do so was seen as 'trashy'?

It will look fine. Make sure that the navy matches though.

Navy tights and boots would be fine with that dress.

I personally don't think many people call pull off knee high boots and no tights / nude tights.

I think it will look look great, I love navy. No different to wearing all black. Brown boots would look good too.

Ooh I love that dress. As it's got white pattern in it too I would think navy tights and boots would look fine. In fact adding a different colour tights might look a bit strange.

I have a plain navy jumper dress and I wear with black tights and black boots. I was vaguely thinking of wearing with navy tights and ankle boots or trainers but not tried yet.

How high up does the neck come on that dress ? I was looking at this a couple of weeks back when someone recommended Esprit for jumper dresses. I need a bit of a scoop neck as don't like things too high but sometimes when you actually buy some thing it's a bit different to the photo.
