Non surgical options for jowls?

I'm noticing my face is starting to sag a little I'd like to pep myself up.

Has anyone had a non surgical facelift of sorts? Fillers or type of facial etc and has it worked?

Watching with interest, my jowls are brutal!!

Tehmina2 · 05/10/2019 10:41

Try Eva Fraser facial exercises book?

I've not got jowls but heard you can minimise or prevent them with these exercises.
It makes sense as the face contains muscles which I guess need toning up like the rest of the body?

I’ve had ultherapy and a thread lift for my jowls. They worked pretty well but will only last a couple of years. The doctor I consulted was very clear that the only way to get a really good result was to go the surgical route with a lower face lift.

I've got a NuFACE which has just arrived, it's only just started looking a little saggy. I'm looking at perhaps certain fillers or RF facials. Nothing hugely painful though!

@OMGshefoundmeout was the thread lift very painful?

princessTiasmum · 05/10/2019 13:15

QueenOfice i have had a nuface for a couple of years, can't see much difference really, but if i dont use it they might get worse,
I hope you find it works for you

OMGshefoundmeout · 05/10/2019 22:32

@nearlynermal. Not painful but very invasive and I developed a bacterial infection from it which was scary and required antibiotics which I prefer to avoid. The results were good but I wouldn’t do it again but

Watching with interest. I’ve got a nuface too. It makes me feel like I’m at least doing something, but I’m 55 and I think there’s a limit to how much skin it can lift!!
I had Botox and fillers throughout my 40s and I loved it and it worked!! I don’t have it anymore though as I’m saving for a facelift, probably in a couple of years. I’ve already had my eyelids done.
I actually don’t mind a few lines but I hate my jowls!!

I had HiFu and my whole face has lifted - pretty incredible results. Hurt like hell but worth it.

Ooh I had HIFU last week and really hoping it works for me

Microneedling, medical grade and laser resurfacing has helped mine although I had the procedures for a different issue.
