If you buy from mint velvet what do they do well and what do you recommend?

I'm Apple shaped and I love their cocoon cut dresses. They are so comfortable and flattering. I buy it every season when they change the colour and details slightly. I've got lots of them. About £110 each but I definitely get my money's worth from them!

I would be wary of their jumpers. Unless you have them dry cleaned, and who can be arsed with that, they tend to go very shapeless and droopy. Also their sizing is bonkers, I have items from them ranging from a size 10 - 16.

I've bought lots from mint velvet! Sizing is a bit variable- especially their dresses which come up large!
My favourite item is a pair of boyfriend jeans which fit really well and feel well made and good quality denim.
Jumpers can go bobbly but that's not really just a mint velvet problem- nearly all jumpers go bobbly in my experience! I'm not keen on their t-shirts- too much modal which always ends up droopy on me!

Jeans, leather jackets, some footware and costume jewellery.

i kind of like them lately, but as above the sizing is all over the place! i do think they're a bit pricey for what they are.

The designs are often good but the quality of fabrics is disappointing for the price

I have the most gorgeous biker style jacket from MV - always gets compliments! I've bought quite a few t shirts and tops as I love their leopard print and star designs. Agree sizing often comes up large. I only ever buy in the sales as too expensive full price.

hopeishere · 04/10/2019 22:21

I agree the quality is terrible. I've a jumper that's about three months old and it's fit for the bin. I brought something else back because it had stretched so much.

In my opinion, the leggings are amazing!
