Help me make a new quality wardrobe

I'm 29 and just had a baby, my body shape has changed a lot and I feel like I'm in a new phase of my life. I want to stop buying poor quality clothing frequently and things that aren't a great fit and just focus on a really lovely, stylish wardrobe that I can add additional accessories or make up to if I want to mix it up.

I'm going to have a huge huge sort out of all the things that are too young, don't fit very well, shabby etc and start again.

I'm a 12-14 at the minute but determined to lose an additional half stone which will bring me to a healthy BMI and a 12. I'm 5ft 8, hourglass shape. I have auburn hair and green eyes.

Please help advise me on what my new staples should be. I don't need anything overly formal for work as it's a relaxed/trendy environment

Thanks wise MNers!

I have similar colouring. I wear a lot of navy and chocolate brown now, it’s kinder as I’m getting older than black. I like forest green too for coats and leather jackets. Grey make me look ill.

I go for finer materials as anything bulky makes me look fat.
