Most boring S&B thread ever - best hangers...

Debating whether to stick this in housekeeping or S&B but I think those on this board probably know clothes best.

So next week my full on Carrie Bradshaw walk in wardrobe is being created. Lots of white, mirrors, glass and sparkly lights.

DM is treating me to "posh hangers" which I have to choose. DSis has said that velvet hangers are best for clothes and says wooden hangers are too slippery. DH thinks wooden ones. Any views?

Told you it was boring...

Very glamorous OP. However, I'd buy clothes rather than wardrobes.

Hmm, see I'd far rather have a beautiful house (I shouldn't really be in style and beauty). But I am going to have to build up my wardrobe clothing wise since I'm getting rid of a fair bit in the process of emptying the old wardrobes.

I'd rather have the choice of wearables. I love clothes, and wearing them. Wardrobes are less interesting. My 2 cents-input.

Oh my! What a wardrobe. I use the velvet hangers but I've had good ones and also easily broken ones. I think in your position I'd buy or shop to look at a few, to check.
