I have some online vouchers to use at H&M but sometimes did there stuff hit & miss.

I can't get to a store so hoping someone might suggest a few things they've seen which are worth getting?

I got a new winter coat from there last week and I love it. Parka style, pile lined, big hood, came in a few colours and most importantly- massive pockets. I got the burgundy colour ☺️

I was on one last week and found it really uninspiring! I just got some basic cotton tops.

GVmama · 04/10/2019 18:44

Some of their knitwear can be good, it’s that time of year! It’s very fast fashion, stock changes every few weeks, so it might be that people don’t know what to suggest.
Have a wander around and see what catches your eye. I’ve had some great stuff at similar prices to primark, and some terribly made stuff which has fallen apart quickly too.

PhonicTheHedgehog · 04/10/2019 18:45

I like their home stuff.

applesandacorns · 04/10/2019 18:49

I think the new H&M X Pringle of Scotland collection looks pretty nice! I've ordered a few of the knits for myself.

May I suggest you look at the things on their website and look at what has high ratings?

I bought about ten items from there the other day, mostly plain t-shirts and long sleeve tops as wardrobe basics.

The item that stands out the most, but would not be to everyone's taste, is a brown and cream, zebra pattern polo neck.

Look at their Premium and Trend collections for good quality and modern cuts with a classic touch. Although all their normal cotton and viscose is good quality anyway.
Smart dresses and coats are also good.
Order 2 sizes (your normal size and a size up)
Or stock up on plain T-shirts (long and short sleeves) as you can’t go wrong with them. Or gymwear if you need it.

Love the Pringle collection!

70isaLimitNotaTarget · 04/10/2019 22:17

I looked in the window today (it was closed so I couldn't go in Grin )

Like the Pringle Argyle sweater but not sure if it would be too boxy in fitting .
Only the top though, I think the matching skirt is a bridge too far.

VolcanionSteamArtillery · 04/10/2019 22:23

If you can get their £5 poundish double layer black tube skirts they are awesome.

I like the Dividend stuff.

TrobadoraBeatrice · 05/10/2019 07:23

I got a couple of their knitted linen t-shirts recently (in the Conscious range, £8) which are very nice for the price.

championquartz · 05/10/2019 10:23

I bought a black pleather midi skirt recently. Haven’t worn it yet but it looks really good, and way better than the price.
I’m on my phone and can’t link because it defaults to the HM app, but the article number is 0802559001. Out of stock online but it might be in store.

teta · 05/10/2019 10:51

I love the pima cotton nightwear and the cotton and silk mix t shirts. The skirts are also brilliant and very good value.

Delatron · 05/10/2019 13:44

Sportswear is good. I bought some workout vests!

pastaparadise · 06/10/2019 01:06

nice kids clothes if you need these

CatCave · 06/10/2019 01:11

I don't like their "fashionable" stuff but love their basics - vest tops, tshirts and knitwear are all great.

If you can't find anything for you, their children's clothing is fantastic, I think they also do homeware on the website now too.

Lyingonthesofainthedark · 06/10/2019 14:23

I have had really bad luck with their knitwear. I bought a jumper and jumper dress a year ago and both render up dumped because of excessive bobbles etc. I have a great dress from them, though.
