Coated leggings question

I’m looking at buying some coated leggings, the ones that look leathery if you know what I mean? Anyway for those that have them, are they stretchy like leggings are or are they more like proper trousers? I’m not sure what size to buy, if buying leggings I’d normally go down a size or two. Thanks!

They are stretchy, but not quite as stretchy as normal leggings. I'd go for your normal size, instead of going down one because they don't look very nice if they're too tight.
