Will shortly be popping out of the office and need to buy mascara - which was the Maybelline one every one was recommending recently?

Nowhere to buy Benefit round here.

Was it lash sensation?

If you have a Wicks near you - the lash Princess has very good reviews.

Deathraystare · 03/10/2019 11:15

Not Wicks!!! SOrry - but if you want kitchen cupboards!!!!

I meant Wilkos!!!!!!

StCharlotte · 03/10/2019 11:27

For some reason I think it had "ink" in the name.

Just got Boots and Superdrug.

I like the Snapscara, but that's because it's a tubing one and I'm a lazy SOB, so it comes off with minimal issue. Buuuuuuuut it also flakes, so I usually top it with something else because while I'm lazy, I'm also into my lashes. Blush

StCharlotte · 03/10/2019 11:54

I watched a YouTube video on tubing mascara and it actually made me feel queasy when they were taking it off. Ridiculous I know!

Not Maybelline, but the No.7 in the gold tube is fab. It is tubing, but never flakes, and stays put all day and night.

ReallyRatherBlonde · 03/10/2019 12:19

I don't know if its the one people were talking about but Maybelline Great Lash in the pink tube with a green lid is fab

MrsPepGuardiola1971 · 03/10/2019 19:54

Max factor masterpiece is tubing, also the boots one is being discontinued Shock

hairtoss · 03/10/2019 19:56

I am fed up of spending £10 on mascaras and getting horrid scratchiest brushes - got a cheap £3 one for primary the other day and it's fine, no crumbs and don't need 2 hours trying to remove the damn stuff!

hairtoss · 03/10/2019 19:57

Primark

RaymondStopThat · 04/10/2019 14:13

the boots one is being discontinued

Noooooooooooo, the gold one? Really? I'm going to buy up the entire UK stock in that case.

CanISpeakToYourManager · 04/10/2019 14:34

I've been dreading the day the No 7 gold is discontinued. Is it full of microplastics then?

Boobiliboobiliboo · 04/10/2019 14:37

Maybelline = Nestle.

If you don’t mind them experimenting on premature babies, putting profit over the rights of babies to be fed safely or for humans to have right to water, crack on.

Deathraystare · 04/10/2019 14:44

Ooh yes, the Boots one (is it the 360o one?). I was speaking to a consultant who said for one week it beat Benefit in sales!

Elllllle · 04/10/2019 14:54

Maybelline ink is a lippie everyone was recommending. I didnt know maybelline was nestle

RaymondStopThat · 04/10/2019 14:58

The Boots one I use isn't the 360 one, it's Stay Perfect. Have just ordered loads online just in case Grin

StCharlotte · 04/10/2019 15:58

Maybelline = Nestle.

I had no idea.

They own lots of beauty brands.

Check baby milk action for a lost.

NoneButOurselves · 04/10/2019 16:05

Sorry, total ignoramus here. What's 'tubing' mascara ?

Boobiliboobiliboo · 04/10/2019 16:25

It forms a little tube around your lashes rather than just sitting on your lashes. You just use hot water to loosen it and the mascara slides off like spiders legs.

Butterymuffin · 04/10/2019 16:27

How would you find out which mascaras are tubing ones and which aren't?

Boobiliboobiliboo · 04/10/2019 16:30

Google?

MyGhastIsFlabbered · 04/10/2019 19:03

I loooove taking off tubing mascara, but I've never found a good one so have abandoned it for now.
