Okay so any advice on what to do with my hair? It's mega curly, I always have it up in a bun but I'm getting pretty bored of it,I just don't know how to tame it? I used to straighten it a lot but since becoming a mum it's a once in a blue moon thing.
Also I brush it everyday and sleep with it up in the night and I always seem to get matted/dreads in my hair in the morning?! They're thick aswell takes me ages to comb them through. I've cut my hair before because it's been so knotted. Help me before I come Bob Marley lol

Find a curl specialist hairdresser who can give it a bit of a style and trim and then look up the Curly Girl method!

Agree with everyone re: Curly Girl method. I also am a huge fan of a curly gel that sets in a cast. So you scrunch in the gel with wet hair, then DO NOT TOUCH until it is FULLY dry. Then rescrunch to break up the casts. It does mean you spend a few hours with your hair looking wet and when you break up the casts the curls are STUNNING.

Also, take the time to teach yourself how to do french plaits. They were my saving grace when I had my hair at my longest (pulling your hair when rolling in your sleep is death) and then I'd replait them in the morning when my hair wouldn't cooperate. I'd then pin the rest of each plait up against the back of my head, tucking the tails into the mess. People were always so complimentary. Don't stress about it looking perfect, mine seldom did...
