Laura mercier power - loose or pressed?

Evening everyone, I am planning on purchasing the LM setting powder after hearing good stuff about it. It seems to be the loose one people rave about however I'm inclined to get the pressed simply because it's less likely to make mess (I'm on the move a lot so the powder will be with me most the time rather than sat at home).

Do you think pressed powder offers the same effect as loose? I've got oily skin, if that matters so I guess pressed is good for touch ups too.

TIA 😊

I use both - loose when applying makeup then I take the pressed out for touch ups. I prefer the loose however it is an awkward size to take out

Yes, I'm thinking I should get both at some point. It's probably going to make more sense to go for the pressed at the moment though as I can use it in the morning and on the go (it's going to be about sixty quid for both) so I'll purchase one for now.

Do you like the pressed powder- would you repurchase? (Assuming it's the LM you are using?)

I love the LM loose powder, but for pressed I prefer Charlotte Tilbury. It's a very good pressed powder.

I have both, and I've just re bought the pressed rather than the loose. I just found the loose messier to use, maybe it's my method, but it was falling on to the table when I was tapping the powder into the lid and making a mess. I also thought over time this must waste a lot of product I'm not getting to use.

When I was researching powders, Space NK told me the LM loose powder was their best selling, and performance wise it is nice. I don't notice a huge difference between it and the pressed though.
