My partner is really suffering with this and I wonder where to start in terms of helping him. He won't go to the doctor. We've tried Dermalex but that's it so far. Thanks for any recommendations!

I have suffered with this for 8 years.

I have had antibiotics, creams from the GP, I've bought stuff from Facebook, pro active, lush and the only thing that keeps them at bay is the nip and fab glycolic range. Highly recommend caudalie cleanser (green tube) followed by the glycolic xxl pads followed by the overnight purifying serum for use before bed.

It has reduced some of my massive painful cysts on my face to very small overnight and away within 2-3 days. I wish I had known about this range years ago and it's very reasonably priced.

Roaccutane.

Either referral from GP to a dermatologist.
They will rarely do this straight away. You’ll be put on a ‘ladder’ of treatments.

Or
Self refer to a dermatologist - you will have to pay.

I self referred. Worth every penny. No more unsuccessful treatments from GP. No more wasted time. No more spending a small fortune on skincare/facials that didn’t work.

I tried everything the Gp could through at me but I ended up having Roaccutane and it's the only thing that worked. Skin has been perfectly clear for over two years now.m
