Sorting out my heels (dry and horrible)

Hi,

Just purchased some slingbacks having lived in court shoes practically all my life. But my heels are a mess. I have the soap and glory footfile and flexitol, unused. Any tips on other products and methods to get them looking pretty again?

Flexitol each night for a week will really make a difference.

Scrub them every night, use the footfile on all the scaly areas and apply plenty of the Flexitol . You don't need other products, just use the flexitol every night without fail.

I love the emoji pedicure. It's battery operated and is great. I used the peeling socks over the summer but they took too long to work and I was peeling for weeks.

with flexitol, do you wear socks with it?

You can do but you don't need to.
Don't use a pumice (sp?) stone or cheese grater type foot file, yeah it removes the skin at first but by doing so it "tells" your feet to produce more because it thinks it needs it for protection due to being scrubbed off so it's a vicious cycle.
Use a foot buffer file (feels almost like an emery board that you use on nails) just to smooth down the skin then use the flexitol.
It's up to you if you wear socks with it, I found it to be quite greasy until it sinks in so wouldn't be a bad idea.

Newton’s sponge.

The end.

Heel Genius by Soap and Glory is fantastic.

My heels were so dry by the end of summer 2018 that they were really cracked and painful. I bought Flexitol thanks to recommendation on here and put it on every day and night and it made a huge difference within a week. Now I just try to put it on whenever I wear socks as it is pretty greasy.

Thanks all, used that Newton sponge I had in the house, unused, and worked a treat within minutes. I'll give flexitol a try for the week too. Genuinely think I won't miss paying for pedicures!
