Cuticle care

Can anyone recommend a real heavy duty hand cream or cuticle treatment. As soon as we get to this time of year my cuticles and the skin around my nails gets really dry and sore and I get these awful cracks on my thumbs which are so bloody painful for such a tiny silly thing. I've tried all sorts including the Body Shop Hemp handcream and even that didn't help. I always wear gloves in the cold and when washing up (not the same ones that would be silly). It's not a big issue in the scheme of things but frustrating.

Boots do a roll on cuticle oil thingy. Very handy to use.

In the winter no matter what I use I have to use it about 6 times a day.

I use a Neotrogena hand cream and CND cuticle oil numerous times every day, and this of a night.

I use lansinoh. My cuticles get very dry and then I pick them and they look terrible. I massage this in every night when I'm sitting watching the TV Grin

I use a solid coconut oil product, I think it is by Body Drench, but I guess any similar coconut oil would work. I melt it on the back of hand then massage it into my cuticles and all other over my hands. It's really making a difference.

Sally Hansen cuticle remover and astral moisturiser.
Also an electric nail file for cuticles.

The Sally Hansen cuticle remover in the wide blue bottle is amazing. Leave on for 30 secs and push back with an orange stick. Do NOT be tempted to use cuticle trimmers!
As for hand cream, I like the Arket ones as they sink in really quickly. I hate having damp slimy hands!

And completely unsexy suggestion incoming: Vaseline and cotton gloves overnight.
