Looking for very soft stretchy jeggings in black

Which jeggings are the softest and stretchiest? I'm looking for a pair of really soft stretchy black jeggings, high rise. I'll be ordering online. I'm size 16.

Thanks Smile

Dorothy Perkins Eden. I think they do a specifically soft pair. They come up a bit big though.

Adollop · 27/09/2019 22:48

Thanks, I'll have a look.

What shape are you? I found Eden to be quite baggy on the hips because I'm an apple shape. My favourite ones are Uniqlo which stretch in every direction so I don't need to hitch them up at the waist every time I bend over or stand up from sitting.

M&S black jeggings are amazing. I'm a size 18 and they are so comfy.

They have washed really well too. I've found that lots of black jeggings have faded. These haven't at all.

Next jersey denim leggings.

Adollop · 28/09/2019 01:10

I'm apple shape. I'll order a few different pairs to try I think.

I like the sound of Next jersey jeggings, but the reviews aren't great, saying they don't stretch much?

The Spanx jeggings are super soft and comfy.

PhysaliaPhysalis · 28/09/2019 07:33

Bought the £9 Morrisons ones last week, wasn't convinced they would be any good.

They are!

Belindabelle · 28/09/2019 13:31

What would a size 16 be in Uniqlo?

exexpat · 28/09/2019 13:41

I have these uniqlo ones www.uniqlo.com/uk/en/product/women-ultra-stretch-leggings-trousers-l29-418872.html?dwvar_418872_color=COL19&dwvar_418872_size=SMA001&cgid= so very similar to the uniqlo heattech ones linked to above. They are high-waisted, very stretchy and the XL is a good fit for a size 14/16 with, shall we say, curvy thighs. The heattech ones would probably be softer and good for winter.

thesnapandfartisinfallible · 28/09/2019 13:43

Asda.

TileFloors · 28/09/2019 13:53

16 in Uniqlo is an XL

BlackAmericanoNoSugar · 28/09/2019 13:56

I'm an 18/20 and I wear an XL in Uniqlo. I'm apple-shaped though so have a size 20 waist and size 14 hips (going by generic measurements).

MrsMaiselsMuff · 28/09/2019 14:00

Uniqlo. Free returns so order XL and XXL, there are different lengths too.

Not a fan of jeggings usually but they are excellent.

PajamasnoDramas · 28/09/2019 15:16

Another one saying Uniqlo here. I bought some last week and will be ordering more. The ones I have are like jeggings, but are soooo soft that my mobility compromised legs had no difficulty getting round the shops this afternoon. Wish I had found them earlier.

Fstar · 28/09/2019 16:00

Asda, they are so soft i did long haul flight in them, great for price too

Adollop · 29/09/2019 00:57

I've looked at the uniqlo ones, but they don't look like jeggings, more like leggings?

I’ve got the Uniqlo ones (second link) and they are definitely on the skinny jeans looking side of jeggings. I wear them instead of any other skinnies now and they are very stretchy and very comfy. Also, the black doesn’t fade! love love love them

Adollop · 03/10/2019 01:31

I've got a pair of DP Eden jeggings, I bought a size bigger and they're quite comfy. I've also got a pair from ASOS to try on yet.
