IPL devices

I know the Lumea seems to be the IPL device everyone has but has anyone gone with a cheaper one? There's some £100-ish ones on Amazon that review really well but I don't want to waste money. Is it a case of you get what you pay for?

Also, are they as amazing as everyone says?

I bought a SmoothSkin Gold which was much cheaper than Lumea at the time.

Life changing.

I mean, totally transformed how I feel about myself.

I no longer have any armpit hair after maybe 5 or 6 goes. My chin hairs totally gone too, which has transformed my confidence. And I have next to no leg hair so can go swimming at a moments notice and when DP is giving me a foot rub I don’t feel self-conscious about stubbly toes or ankles.

I’ve literally only used it 5 or 6 times at the most, over three years ago.

I am Spanish in heritage so olive skin, dark hair. I’d recommend it to anyone like me.

@30to50feralhogs - brilliant! I am definitely going to get one of some variety. The thought of not having to do my underarms is life changing. Do I dare use it on the bikini line?

GREAT username by the way.

I can only say the Lumea has given me better results than salon laser treatment ever has. It's worth the money.
