What bag to wear with knee high leather brown boots?

Usually have across body bags as need my hands free with young kids. Currently using a Kipling black one but doesn’t look right with the new boots I’ve just bought. Plus it’s far from waterproof which I found out the other day! 😫
What colours go with brown leather? Needs to be fairly neutral as I’m not one for changing bags daily so I’d like it to go with most outfits.
Also fairly cheap as I’ve been spending too much and need to seriously rein it in.

Glenalmond Tweed make some nice bags, in tweed natch, with bridle leather fastenings. One of the plaids might works with your wardrobe, and they are waterproof.

I have a red Buchanty that DH gave me as a baby bag, which is as good as new. The baby is now 20. The bags never wear out, unlike their owners! The bigger ones are heavy when full.

I have boots just like that! I am wearing them today.

I only own two bags; a tan leather satchel from hotter of all places (charity shop find), and an oversized canvas shopper thing from Vivienne Westwood's Anglomania range. Both go ok with the boots. I'll see if I can find links for similar.

I have dark tan brown knee boots like & black knee boots. Also black, grey & dark tan ankle boots.

But I only have one actual crossbody handbag that I use all the time which is a grey River Island triple compartment bag.
It goes with everything & looks smart.
