Wine red every day trainers?

I have a black pair which need replacing. Cannot for the life of me find any others. The only ones I've found are these, described as "wine red". Unconvinced. I've only ever had black or brown shoes!
I wear blue jeans usually, occasionally black. I do have a pair of rust coloured cords which I suppose wouldn't go at all?

Wine red every day trainers?

Clark's have some which look dark red to be but are called aubergine

These M&S Autograph ones are very nice in black - I love M&S trainers, they are so comfy.

Geox Nebula but not cheap. Well made and long lasting though.

Sorry OP not sure if you're looking for black ones or dark red? If the latter, I have a pair of Adidas Gazelles in that colour, don't know if they still do them, but if not New Balance 373s come in a dark wine red.

Oh, that's not clear, is it!

I currently have black shoes.
I have only ever had black or brown shoes.
The only ones I can find in my (clown-feet) size are "wine red".

I'm not really sure about the colour. What can I wear them with and what will it clash with? Or will they go with pretty much everything?

Geox and those M&S only go up to a 42/8.

Ah didn't realise you needed larger ones! What size? I'm a 9 and M&S ones usually fit me. Next do shoes up to a 43, as I'm sure you know. But for trainers you can easily just buy men's.

Vans do wine red Smile

I love the ones in your pic - what are they?

SlavesToTheKitchen · 27/09/2019 07:34

They're lowa gtx travel shoes. I accidentally bought goretex trainers 5 years ago and it made such a difference in the autumn. I go everywhere by foot and waiting at the bus stop with dry feet was a revelation!

Generally, I can't wear men's shoes. They're cut differently to women's, especially around the tendon and they are usually too broad.

I had a leather jacket in that colour. I wasn’t sure how much use it would get but it went with everything!
