Lose weight for wedding dress?

Hi all,

Getting married next year. Bit chubby after 2 children so need to lose weight. Dreading getting my wedding dress and wanting to put it off until I'm feeling more comfortable but I'm aware that i should leave 10months or so before the wedding to get the dress.

Should I just get it now whilst fat or should I wait?
I'm worried when I try the dress on I won't like it due to my flabby arms etc

Help!

You should wait, definitely, so it can be altered as little as possible. When's the wedding exactly? Mine is next year too and I'm going 6 months before. Try to shift as much of the weight you can before trying on dresses so you can see if they'll suit your new figure.
