What colour cardigan/jacket with a dress like this

I have a rather nice dress which I wear to work with a white high necked cardigan to make it more work-appropriate.
It looks a lot like this one in the picture - same colour, cobalt with purple undertones (?), slightly more covered up and less evening-y in style.

White cardigan (which I bought at random in a style emergency) is going a bit grey with age and needs replacing. Which colour can I replace it with? I don’t think my skin tone could cope with a radical pink/orange choice.

I don’t think that’s a cardigan dress.

Jacket?

Also open to jacket suggestions. The actual dress is a bit more form fitting on the top though, so a waist length twin-set style cardigan works well.

Black goes well with that colour.

Yellow does too, but it might be a bit bright for work depending on what you do?!

It’s an odd colour, but actually does go with a lot of other colours

I would probably match the cardigan to the dress, cropped cashmere and black suede shoes

Silver grey is a brilliant suggestion. I have shoes that colour which will work well (v corporate environment so stuff that would normally be too matchy matchy for S&B is spot on).

Short fitted jacket. Definitely not a cardigan
