I hate my hair at the moment. I use frizzease and straighten it and it looks lovely, smooth and sleek until I step out the door. Any hint of humidity turns it into big 80s wavy monstrosity. It’s not frizzy just big and all gently curled in all the wrong directions.
Please help me with some products as I just end up putting it up in a ponytail which doesn’t really suit me.

Do you use hairspray? I never used to but it's amazing how much it helped my poofy hair. I use Elnett. I don't think the big hair looks bad but I know how frustrating it is when you've spent ages styling it and then 2 minutes outside and you needn't have bothered!

If I'm wearing my hair straight and it's a wet day I spray on lots more hair spray than I need to protect the style and brush it out when I get where I'm going.

My daughter has this issue as she has really curly hair - she uses an Argan oil spray on dry hair - it's like an oil so spray onto hands and run through hair - it seems to work but don't put too much on or it can look greasy! This is what we are working with!

Same problem here - no curls but lots of kinks and waves
Lately I've been using this https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=bumble+and+bumble+blow+dry&client=safari&hl=en-gb&prmd=simvn&sxsrf=ACYBGNQ1VmctxbfF4EQDOT1xYVSrmUKm8Q:1569481408426&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiTtNLu9e3kAhUEQhUIHXN6BbYQ_AUoAnoECAsQAg&biw=375&bih=526#imgrc=UvAmfjroDtlBvM and a Mason Pearson pure bristle brush - both ££ pricey but much happier with the results.

Not sure link worked - it's Bumble & Bumble All Style Blow Dry

I gave up straightening it and started treating it like curly hair... turned out to be a lot curlier than I thought and looks loads better than it ever did straight.

Not much help to you in keeping it straight though, lol.

OP, stop fighting your hair. Embrace it's qualities and get a haircut that works for you.

Curly Girl aficionados say frizz is a curl waiting to get out. Try Curly Girl and see what happens. Better nice waves and curls than frizz IMO.

Reduce the amount of sulfur in your diet. Makes hair softer/sleeker.
