What I meant to add, but didn’t is that Grenson is a small company and it’s really not nice to brag about copies or their things.

The same reason I don’t buy or recommend dupes or perfumes, it rips off someone’s work.

I admit I’d never heard of Grenson’s when I bought these. I just liked them. Now I can see they’re very similar but not identical to Grenson’s.

I also don’t have £300 to spend on boots so would never be in the market for a pair of Grenson’s so I’m not going to feel guilty about buying these even if they were meant to be a copy.

Isn’t that what high street fashion does, make affordable items that are loosely based on or replicate high fashion?

They’re nice boots. I’m glad you’re pleased with them. They aren’t good Grenson copies though.

I bought the Grenson Nanettes in a mid brown two years ago. My friend calls them my arse kicking boots 😂😂

I checked those M&S boots out online (Op they look good to me too) - and all sizes in stock.

Bit wary of buying shoes online so went into Marks to try a pair on.

There was only one pair on display and of course not my size. Plenty of the ones with the fur on top, but I like the zippy ones - much easier for my high instep. Cant believe it - have they all been bought up since this thread???

means I have to buy 2 sizes off the website and there's no guarantee either will fit/be comfy. Of course I can return them, but it's just a pain.

Ah annoyed I bought a tan pair from M&S as couldn't get these! The black ones are nicer I think. Oh well.
