Opinions on these boots?

After a lot of deliberation I've just bought these to wear with skirts and jeggings. They fit well and DH says they look good but very different from anything I'd normally go for. They are an expensive purchase for me so just asking for impartial opinions!!

I used to wear pixie boots like this in the 80's or 90's therefore I'm a bit meh about them.

Joeler · 24/09/2019 17:16

I think with the slouch and the suede material they could look scruffy really quickly. I know they are currently in stock,but they look quite dated to me.

Aderyn19 · 24/09/2019 17:20

I'm not certain about the heel. I think maybe it's too blocky for a slouch style, which I always think of as a more dainty look.

I think these are nicer

I love them! I think the slightly blocky heel on a slouchy boot is a bit of an unexpected twist. Plus they'll go with loads - they'd look fabulous with a midi dress, quite retro. I want them!

MrsMozartMkII · 24/09/2019 18:59

I like the blocky heel on them.

Treaclebee · 24/09/2019 19:04

Oh they're just what I'm looking for OP!

I have block heels and cone heels and I can walk for longer on blocks. Save my cone ones for when I'm just posing {grin}

Richlyfruited · 24/09/2019 20:11

That pretty much echoes all my feelings about them...I definitely lusted after slouchy pixie boots in the 80s so maybe that's why I'm a bit unsure!!

Love the Mint Velvet ones but I don't think I could ever walk in them!

I'm leaning towards keeping them as they do go so well with everything.
