I've had my eye on these for a while. I've never had a pair of Hunters before (haven't worn wellies at all in donkey's years) but I'm looking for something I can tramp around in the rain in which I won't need / want to change straight out of as soon as I reach my destination. The quilted hunters look like a good compromise between a shoe that is in fact a welly, but that sort of just looks like a boot. Does anyone have a pair? Do you like them?
Specific questions:
- Are they comfy to walk significant distances in, i.e. for an hour or two?
- I have skinny calves and am hoping the 'refined gloss tall' will not be too baggy on me - any thoughts?
