To Fringe or Not to Fringe?

Having my hair cut on thursday and dabbling with the idea of having a fringe cut in.
My hair is long (bra lenght), brown, incredibly thick and has a natural wave in it. But think more puff ball then beach waves. I spend 99% of my time with it up in a bun. Oh and I wear glasses.
Is finge a really terribly bad idea?

I love a fringe but I have thick wavy hair plus a cow lick so not really a good idea for me Grin plus it only takes a sniff of moisture for it to kink. I love it though. But not had one for over a year now as I grew it out because of last year's sweaty heatwave. I flirt with having it cut back in but I have to kind of train it back each time. Every time, I regret it! I love my fringe and don't have to do anything with it. I get up and go. My sister grew hers out though as she was fed up with having to straighten it every morning. Depends on the weight of the fringe you have and the kind of hair you have.

I have wavy and fairly thick hair and recently had a side fringe cut in. I can't do a blunt fringe as my hair parts no matter what I do. Mine's long enough that it looks like it needs a trim, rather than a proper fringe.
For me the game changer has been a massive round bristle brush..dry it with that and it stays nice and full . Of course one dog walk later in the rain and it's all curly , but I still think it improves my face..my long no fringe hair was starting to look a bit witchy on me! (But I'm 51)
