I was at the hairdressers around 2 weeks ago. I usually go to the same girl who knows how I like my hair and knows what to do with it. I had an occasion to go to and wanted to have my hair cut and blow dried. I phoned up and they said that A was on holiday but B could take you instead. Ok I told B that I always get a tidy up off the length but that A always chops in to it and takes the weight out of my hair, so that it is much lighter and easier to manage. So B cut my hair and she said that she would texturise it and I got a bouncy blow dry and all looked fine.
It was only when I washed it myself and let it dry naturally that I realise that it is shorter but that she hasn't taken the weight out of my hair. It is shorter but is growing outward and looks too bushy to wear it loose and down, so I have resorted to putting it up in a pony tail or clip which kind of defeats the purpose of having it cut in the first place.
Does anyone have any recommendations of serums, creams etc which I could use to flatten my hair down? I have been using the John Frieda frizz ease but something stronger is maybe required? Thanks.
