Hair replacement systems

Hi, I have been looking for ages now at hair replacement systems from a salon called Lucinda Ellery. I love the look of what they can offer, and the reviews seem very good. But... they are really quite expensive. Does anyone have any recommendations of alternative salons offering similar mesh hair replacement, but cheaper! Thanks

I've had one from a fairly well known place & supposedly trusted place - not Lucinda Ellery. It left me almost bald on top. Thankfully for me, hair has grown back. In my case, the salon made mistakes which contributed to my hair loss. I'd never get one again. There are a few groups on Facebook that are for people who have or thinking about getting them. They are usually divided between people who love them and those who don't. The problem is, because they are attached 24/7 you can't see the damage they are doing. In the salon waiting room I would peek at other customers. Many looked like wigs rather than totally natural tbh but some did look great. Those with fringes looked the best. Try and join a fb group. I think that would help you.

Where are you based? I know a lady who is amazing and actually quite reasonably priced compared to a lot of places.

I've worn them on and off for about 10 years now (with full wigs inbetween) and done properly they can be amazing. Because my hair loss is from trichotillomania, having the systems on 24/7 helps with not physically being able to pull.

They're very very expensive though and upkeep adds up quickly. Also can be itchy and uncomfortable when first put on/when needing to be tightened.
