Comfy leather trainers with straps

I’m in need of some waterproof shoes for the school run before my boots make an appearance!

I really like the idea of straps rather than laces, but I’m a bit worried about them looking like toddler shoes! Any recommendations? They need to be comfortable and can go up to £ 120 ish.

That's assuming I've correctly understood what you mean by straps.

Are veja comfortable, I’d heard they take a bit of breaking in. Off to google Superga Velcro!
