Hi all. I use 0.050% Retin A for acne and discolouration, and I've woken up to 2 purple, hugely swollen under eyes. I've been using it for nearly a year and the worst thing that's happened before is milia, and a little bit of redness here and there, but nothing this bad. I didn't put it under my eyes either, I think it's migrated there.
I'm not exaggerating, I look like I've been in a really bad fight. I know my skin will be extra sensitive, but I'm freaking out about what to do. Do you think ice will be okay on the area or will it possibly aggravate it more? It's currently really itchy, and stings when I touch it. The swelling is very fluid-y, if I put pressure on the lump it forces it to another area. Any tips to soothe it without pissing the skin off more would be greatly appreciated, thank you :)
