What do I wear for this (tomorrow, please help!)

Tomorrow I have a work meeting and it involves overnight stay in a hotel (not a posh one) with lots of people I've never met (only met three, about 20 people there). I think I know what I'm wearing to the meeting but it's the dinner I'm worried about. I have no clue what to wear. I don't know if it's a jeans affair or more dressy. What would a safe option be? TIA

I have a black midi dress for exactly this sort of thing, can be dressed up or down so can fit into either scenario and less chance of standing out

Agree with the above.
Also, something that you're comfortable in, that makes you feel like you.
There'll likely be people there in a range of things anyway.

I would probably go for the black dress suggested or black trousers so you can swap out your top for night/next day with minimal packing.

Something comfortable but not obviously dressed up. A dress/outfit you'd wear for a relaxed but celebratory dinner with friends might hit the mark?

As above. For me maybe nice wrap top/wide leg trousers. That kind of level of smartness that can be taken either way. Not jeans or sequins, basically. These things can be hard, can't they? Bet you'll find people wearing all sorts!! DH would wear chinos and a shirt - how easy is that?
