Concealing red eyelids

Hoping the wisdom of Mumsnet can help!

I've recently noticed that the skin on my eyelids is thin meaning my purple veins are quite visible. I wear liquid eyeliner and mascara every day but feel I need something as a base to conceal the redness.

Does anyone have any recommendations?

I have the same issue, I use a smidge of foundation and a bone coloured matt eyeshadow.

You need a concealer that is tinged with green

The opposite of red on the colour wheel is green, therefore it should counteract thing

Have a wander into boots/superdrug and look for a green tinted concealer, pat it onto your eyelid, set with powder, then carry on with makeup routine i.e. foundation over top on eyelid. This will ensure it stays in place

(I recently purchased a green tinted primer from a drugstore brand can't remember which, it was rubbish. So stick with concealer as it'll be more pigmented)
