American Vintage always have bargains in their outlet stores and online. Stock changes really quickly as well so worth double checking.

I love this one! Might not be the correct colour though...

I now NEED the navy Celtic cardi. Has anyone seen any cheaper ( but just as nice) versions?

@Pinkarsedfly

Next do cheaper cardigans than that one.

Chrest- thanks for the links, I agree with you about the quality of the wool.

I've seen this one from Part 2. It looks quite similar. It's priced in Euros so might be a bit less in a UK store. www.parttwo.com/en-eu/tobacco-brown-knitted-cardigan-30304435-33163

Honestly, if you love it and will wear it every autumn/winter, then buy it (assuming you have the money - if you don't, by all means find a good dupe!).

A lot of people will spend the cost of the original item trying to find that perfect dupe, so I always think it's worth buying the original if you love it.

I’ve just started knitting! I think it might be a bit beyond me though!

Thanks all for the great ideas. I’ll wait until payday and see what this month’s outgoings are before I decide...

I bet there's someone who can knit it? If you're on Facebook ask on local page perhaps?

I saw one similar in Mataram this morning.

I’d suggest looking for Toast cardigans on eBay as it’s likely there will have been similar styles in the past. If I miss out on a specific item from brands like Reiss, Toast, Whistles, Jaeger, et al, I always search on eBay to see if I can pick up something similar at a bargain price.

Next - lofty cardigan any good?

I bought the blue Celtic boyfriend cable cardi. It arrived today and is just what I wanted.

I got an amazing cardigan from ebay, blue and chunky and think its Billabong, original price was far too much for me. I love it but have never worn it as it's far too big and I cant get away with it - I'm 5ft so it drowns me. I'm gutted plus, it didnt sell on ebay either so am stuck with it. I get it out now and then and wrap it round and admire it.
