Down jacket

I have a flattering down jacket from Zara, but it sheds feathers like anything. It destroys whatever I'm wearing underneath.
I have a full length puffer jacket that only sheds occasionally so I know the problem with the Zara jacket is poor quality.
I couldn't see the same thing for sale in the shops so I'd like some advice on how to make the Zara jacket wearable. Do those spray things really work? Do I need to just find a thin cardigan I wear with it every time to protect whatever I've got on underneath?

I live my down jackets. They are really warm. But I've never had a problem with feathers shedding. I'd buy a better quality jacket!

Toddler - I can't find the same thing around at the moment so I need to stick to the one I've got.
