Poor hairdryers

I have an ionic hair dryer at home and it seems to work quite well on my frizzy hair. However, if I'm away or when I'm drying my hair at the gym, my hair gets really frizzy particularly the baby hair at the front. The only way I can deal with it is to add wax, but is there a product that I could use as a shampoo or before blow drying that would help?
Or, should I have a brazilian blow dry at my next appointment or would olaplex help?
TIA
