Red or black DMs?

Recently purchased a lovely pair of navy pascal DMs. I love them!!
So much so, I've decided I need another pair.
I already own a few pairs of black boots in different styles but still really like the look of the black patent DM boots.
Currently torn between these and some cherry red ones. They will predominantly be worn with mostly black outfits (skirts/dresses) and occasionally grey/black/khaki jeans.
I do a lot of walking so they will get plenty of wear, even alternating with my navy pair.
I just can't decide on colour!

Id say black. I have the black patent 1460 lamper boots and they go with everything. I also wear the jadons and the smooth ankle boots (6 holes) all in black! Although I do have my eye on the dm cherry red shoes 😂 x

Red all the way

I have the red and they go with everything. I would like a black pair but can't afford them anytime soon.

Ellapaella · 14/09/2019 14:28

And if you're mostly wearing with black then the red will add a bit of colour.

Red. I have the red vegan ones. They’re beautiful.

Black patent will kill your feet for about 6 months, especially after nice soft Pascals!

slavetothemoney · 14/09/2019 17:24

@hammeringinmyhead good point!

Thinking I'll go with cherry red. I like the idea of a nice contrasting colour when I'm otherwise head to toe in black! Smile

If I'm still hankering after the black ones in a month or so, guess I'll have to just buy those too! Grin

Get the red. Yes the black are classics but as pp said it’ll add a pop of colour. I bought the purple ones (in 1995!) and I still have them now. I always get comments when I wear them. In the 90s I honestly wore them with everything! I’m a bit more selective now but they are great.
