How to clean and revive a leather jacket

As the title suggest really, I have an all saints leather jacket around 4 years old but still amazing apart from makeup around the collar area and some worn looking patches around shoulder from hand bags.
How do I sort these without damaging it? I took it to my dry cleaners who kindly told me that they outsource this and it isn’t good value for money

Ive heard of people just slinging it into the washing machine and apparently it’s fine once it dries, but I must admit that the idea scares me a little!

Otherwise I think I’d start by using baby wipes and see how that goes.

The worn patches can be restored with a good leather cream.

I use shoe polish for my leather jacket when it looks a bit worn in places!

I put mine in the washing machine this week! I only put it on a 20' wash, it has come out like new

I used Aleppo soap well lathered on a flannel to revive a The Bridge handbag. It worked a treat because it’s a very oily soap and didn’t strip the shine off the leather.

In furniture stores you can be leather cleaning kits for sofa. They work wonders on all leather.
