Ponchos?!

Hello.
I have a odd feeling that I need a poncho.
Are they really not 'in' anymore? Will I look like an idiot?
What does everyone think of them and does anyone wear them?!

I have a thin poncho from the Seasalt sale. It’s an in between thing to wear when I don’t want to wear a jacket.

I think they look much more stylish on tall slender types (doesn't everything?) I am short and wide and find a thin merino one from kettlewell is great as a warm layer in a cold office without feeling bulky as a jumper would. I am all about comfort these days

Capes are back on trend this winter. Ponchos most definitely not. But if you want a poncho, get a poncho. Better to wear what you like than following 'fashion' just for the sake of it.

I’m looking for a poncho regardless of what’s in, they can look great.

I have a 'biker poncho' that I got from The Kooples in their sale. Photo attached of it.

They have a similar version they've just released for the new season but it's £265 and not as nice (imo):

I love to wear ponchos in Autumn, but I'm afraid , if you knew me, that doesn't mean that they are 'in'. I'm very much of the belief that if you feel good in it you'll look good in it.
If you want to wear one then Autumn is the time Smile

Curlypop · 13/09/2019 21:04

I'm not tall and thin alas, more of a average high as 12 but I think I'd enjoy wearing one to chuck on and that.
Joules used to do one I like but no longer sell.
