Mascara for my wedding!

I'm getting married soon I have someone to do my makeup on the day, but I wasn't keen on the Urban Decay mascara she used at my trial (felt too clumpy and heavy for my liking, plus it flaked off underneath).

She is fine for me to provide my own. I really need to buy a new one anyway (I've had my Dr Hauschka one for ages and it definitely isn't at its best anymore) but I don't really know which brand to look at.

I have sensitive eyes and find heavy mascara just flakes under my eyes.

Any recommendations?

Yes Eyeko lash alert mascara. It's one of the few that do not smudge on me.

Boots No. 7 in the gold tube. Lengthens but doesn't flake. Won't shift if you shed a tear either!

Benefit, they're real. It's my holy grail mascara, it doesn't budge.

I wear it every day and it doesn't budge, no flaking or smudging. I wore it for my wedding and it even survived a wee cry

I haven't heard of Eyeko. Good reviews online.
My eyes are so sensitive I don't want them to be bloodshot in all the photos I don't care about lengthening etc my lashes, just a bit of definition is all I care about. I don't like the style of heavy mascara that sticks the lashes together and makes you look like you only have 4.

Lancome Hypnose or Benefit Bad Girl Bang

Limelife. I ordered from a friend. It's the only mascara that has never dropped or flaked. Perfect on my wedding day and every time since!

If you don't care about lengthening them you could just get them tinted? Lasts 2-3 weeks and won't run or smudge if you cry. I did this before I had my babies as I knew wouldn't be putting mascara on after and I've also done it before holidays too so don't need to worry about mascara running in the pool!

Why not just buy the same one you are currently using if you like it so as not to risk irritated eyes!

The Kevin Aucoin tubing stuff is incredible
Many of the others mentioned here I’ve found okay for a few hours but not good for a long period like a wedding
The tubing is there until you remove it
I used to use clarins, moved to blink tubing but the Aucoin stuff is excellent

@jomaIone I'm now leaning that way! But it's a Dr Hauschka and I don't wear it everyday, so I wouldn't know if it would withstand a few tears.

@icecreamsundae32 I can't keep my eyes shut for tinting! It's hard to explain but it makes me feel panicky

I had lash extensions for mine. Looked fab & no smudging.

The Eyeko waterproof one is amazing! I wear it all day every day to the gym, swimming and no smudging at all!

Eyelko Black Magic is good as well

The no. 7 one is a tubing mascara to. They only shift with warm water
