Kids clothes for ladies

Was watching a Trinny IGtv episode yesterday and she had a lady on who was 4 ft 11. She took her shopping in the zara kids section and found some amazing finds for her in coats and shoes. Cost effective too!

Does anyone have any other stores that they find successful for the kids/womens transition. I'm 5ft 3, size 8/10.

the m&s kids range goes up to 15-16 so depending on length you may find stuff in there x

Well I’m 5’8” and size 14 and am wearing ds pyjamas - M&S age 14-15. They are perfect.

Bluewavescrashing · 10/09/2019 21:06

Boden - I have a few jumpers age 12-13. They are huge!

kmini · 10/09/2019 21:09

I never thought of jumpers - would have thought they wouldn't sit right across the bust - but it's worth a try Smile!

I used to wear H&M kids section clothes when I was at university, I'm just about 5ft and was probably an 8 then, before I went on the pill and got huge boobs Angry. Very budget friendly for a skint student!

I second H&M. Also the 'select' teen range fits me well. New look are hit and miss, depends if the store has a good selection, unless you like unicorns and glitter tops? Grin

Age 15-16 girls Ralph Lauren sweaters fit lovely on a size 10

DatsunCogs · 10/09/2019 21:41

Yes to all these, H&M 14+ Boden and M&S, also Gap kids and New Look 9-15 range.
Also try the shoes, great for some styles

DatsunCogs · 10/09/2019 21:42

Oh and jigsaw junior! Fraction of the price of the ladies range Smile

Try next girls. I’m your size age 16 too big but 15 great . Last years cozy cardigan great. Eyeing up the woven PJs.

I buy lots of basics in the kids section- leggings, cycling shorts, a nice skort thing. I find Asda's age 14/15/16 fits me fine as a size 8-10. I was eyeing up a nice grey jersey pinafore dress until I realised it was school uniform!

kmini · 10/09/2019 22:06

Haha yes when I put into size 14/15 it often comes up with school uniform!

M&S. I'm 5'10 and size 14, I have some of their kids jeans in size 15-16, they are fab with stars on them. Have also tried a couple of other things that fit width wise, but are a bit short.

Cheap but good quality cotton jumpers and cardigans can be found in the school uniform sections of the shops. Not a huge array of colours, good for black, grey and navy Grin
