Yes looks a little stripy and unblended. I would say something if your not happy.

madcatladyforever · 09/09/2019 13:08

It looks ok, mine did mine the same time after time, 5 bloody hours as well. I went back to clairol.

Llamalovestheweekend · 09/09/2019 13:09

yes v stripey - I personally hate the stripey look as it is so unnatural
I would say something

Llamalovestheweekend · 09/09/2019 13:13

Hmm, I think it’s worth remembering that no one really looks at you from that angle- how does it look from the sides?

Llamalovestheweekend · 09/09/2019 13:22

It looks ok but the top is very severe looking

RacheyCat · 09/09/2019 13:35

I'd say it was too stripey. The contrast between the highlights and your natural hair is way too strong.

Sorry, OP!

peoplearepeople · 09/09/2019 13:40

Have to agree that it does look just a little bit stripey. Have you tried just changing the parting slightly. This might help it not look quite as severe?

Crazyladee · 09/09/2019 13:41

I like it! It's clearly highlighted and multi tonal. It should fade a little after a few washes

Lamentations · 09/09/2019 13:57

Go back, politely and with a smile and ask them to blend it in. If you then feel you want to change hairdressers do it then, after they've fixed it.

KellyMarieTunstall2 · 09/09/2019 14:41

Hi OP I'm sorry but it's stripey, the highlights are too thick. I would brave it and ask them to soften it. Good luck

BusterGonad · 09/09/2019 14:43

It's a bit 90s looking.

moonpiggle · 09/09/2019 15:12

Ah was thinking the same Busted. Its a bit dated.

user1494055864 · 09/09/2019 15:22

I ask for the stripey look when I go, but I wouldn't be happy with this, it looks very uneven.

ViserionTheDragon · 09/09/2019 15:57

Agree with Buster, that's exactly what I thought when I saw the pic.

halloumi2019 · 09/09/2019 16:03

Yes it looks stripy, now stripy isn’t necessarily a bad thing but I think the photo lacks finesse. Sadly it looks a bit amateur, which is unacceptable if you have paid full price with a supposedly decent stylist.

In the left side of the photo near the parting there’s a box shaped patch of brown hair. It needs breaking up a bit. I wonder if this is something to do with the foils perhaps, it sort of looks like you have regrowth! Whereas on the right side you can see the highlights added right up to the root? Also the highlights seem more sparse on the right side of the photo. Definitely uneven and not blended.

I would ask to speak to the manager .... Grin
