How much do I need to spend to be ridiculously warm (and dry) this winter?

...and look good as well? It feels like a tall order.

I’d like a parka type possibly, not navy and sadly not Seasalt there are already a gang of school mums with those.

I’m thinking of splashing out a bit on something that will last a few years. I seem to feel the cold more than I used to so it needs to be cosy.

Shower proof will do as I have a Barbour for really rainy days.

Look at Didrikson. They are amazing and you can get last years coats for under £100. If you're really lucky, tkmax have them.
