Where to get jeans that are 'generous' as I'm in between sizes?

Ordering a bunch of clothes over the next few days and am on the lookout for some new jeans. I've recently lost weight but still have a 'mum tum' and a 'pooch' especially as my youngest is only 3 months old. I'm mostly a size 10 but I'm in between with jeans. My current size 12 jeans are so baggy on the legs but tried on a pair of River Island size 10 jeans earlier that I had before kids and struggled to get them on around the waist. I could do them up but definitely a but snug.

Where's the best place to get jeans for someone in between sizes or are a more generous fit?

Next have started doing half sizes - tho you are probably a 10 in there anyway!

Idontneeditatall · 08/09/2019 19:36

Sizes vary so much between stores that there’s no need to look for a size 11. Just try both 10’s and 12’s in different stores and you’ll come up with something

Tu at Sainsbury's, you'll probably get in a ten because they seem to allow more belly room

motherofgod2 · 08/09/2019 21:04

Fat Face jeans are huge so you'd probably get into a 10 but they are quite expensive.

Like PP said Sainsburys is a good bet, I had to size down when I bought their £15 skinny jeans, the girlfriend ones are also generous. Cheaper than Fat Face

stoplickingthetelly · 08/09/2019 21:09

M & S are pretty generous too

Xyzzzzz · 08/09/2019 21:14

Dorothy Perkins is always generous i find

TakeMe2Insanity · 08/09/2019 21:38

Next online do between sizes

SteelRiver · 08/09/2019 23:35

My Next jeans are quite generously sized. They also so some of their ranges in in-between size, eg 11, 13, 15 etc.

Look for Asda wonder fit jeans. The small is size 10-12 and they stretch/shrink with you! I found them really good when I was losing weight

Rachelover60 · 09/09/2019 00:42

M&S pretty good.

WindsweptEgret · 09/09/2019 17:37

M&S and FatFace run about half a size bigger, a Next 10 would probably be too big.

thedevilinablackdress · 09/09/2019 17:42

There's not much consistency with shops' sizing, so as PP mentioned, try a few and pick up a couple of likely sizes and see what's good.

This is me - I'm between a 10 and a 12 and find Gap jeans are a generous fit. To get the best fit I go for brands such as Levi's which size by waist and leg, ie 28inch waist, 30 leg etc etc. They do in between sizes so a 29 inch waist is between a standard UK 10-12.

Thereshegoesagain · 09/09/2019 17:43

Honestly, I'd go to Asda, their wonderfit is comfy, generous and cheap.

Apileofballyhoo · 09/09/2019 17:45

Gap high waisted super skinny might suit.
