Need some hair inspiration

I have pretty much always had long, highlighted blonde hair. Apart from a longish bob about 11/12 years ago. As you can see, my roots are woefully overdue, but I have an appointment for next week. I feel like I really need a change, but I don't know what. My hair is pretty fine and needs washed/bunned up every other day. Doesn't hold a wave terribly well.

Any ideas for me? I'm 37 if it matters.

In your shoes I would get a long blunt bob, and sharpen up the colour to a more cool blonde.
