As the titles says really- im a size 14 but I obviously want to cover up on my holiday in November. I don’t feel confident enough to wear a bikini so im choosing a swimsuit. The issue is I have body acne also... back, shoulders and chest. So il literally have to find a swimsuit that only exposes my arms and legs and neck. This is going to be impossible. Does anyone have any advice. We are going to the Maldives and I just want to enjoy the holiday together without worrying about my huge spots or rolls of fat. 😞

I think obvious cover ups often draw even more attention to the area. I’ve tried with various swimming shorts and rash vest combos over the years and am now most comfortable in a suit like this www.oneill.com/gb/en/skins-front-zip-long-sleeve-surf-suit-womens/OW003473-DB-XXS.html?gclid=Cj0KCQjwqs3rBRCdARIsADe1pfRMx2SXVr_xapJKIRfozXeCg9ONjJ37Cz4ebCO81eGP_clSLGUu7-IaAnJVEALw_wcB . That pretty much covers the only areas you want to show though. Could you try a nice standard shaped swimming costume with a semi sheer sarong, then slip it off just as you get in the pool/ sea?

Speedo do some high neck suits that might work for you? They also mean much less sunscreen faff Smile

Not s swimsuit recommendation but, have you been to the GP? Years ago I got a cream from the doctor and it cleared it within a few weeks.

so tankini short bottoms and a rash vest. and its not obvious that you need to cover up at a size 14 Grin

Also, just a suggestion....I found a Salux cloth massively helped my body acne. I use it in the shower every morning on my back, chest/decollete and shoulders and it really helps.

Either the Speedo Xylia or Hydrosuit might be suitable

First of all you are not flawed ❤️ Why not try to find a really well fitted swimsuit/tankini/bikini that you love rather than focusing on covering up? PPs tips about trying to address your skin concerns may also help. I'm a big fan of bravissimo swimwear, it's such a brilliant fit, lots of lovely designs and great quality. Maybe invest in a lovely sarong or kaftan too? ☺️

Tesco do some lovy bodyshaping costumes for around £14-£18 (I have 1) but I would quite like my bottom covered by a short!

I do wear it with a pair of very small black shorts over the top Blush

How about a bikini for swimming and sunbathing when no-one will be looking and a floaty semi sheer cover up for when you're out of the water or walking about?

Yay! Glad I could help a little OP. Smile
