So I'm not exactly growing old gracefully but I've recently decided to either hold off on dyeing over my greys or I might actually stop dyeing completely..... my question though is this: does anyone know why the hairs that are growing through grey, are wiry, almost pubic in texture?
I mean the whole hair shaft, not just the grey part. I can literally feel the difference between a strand with a grey root and one without.
What probably doesn't help is that I have trichotillomania so I'm hyper aware of my hair as I play with it a lot.
Any insight welcome though!
