Could you help me find shoes like these please?

So I guess I am after brogues with a wedge and a platform, something I can wear at work. They need to be extremely comfortable and give me height. I have wide feet. Would spend up to £150 for the right shoe.

Why not buy the ones from M&S?

Otherwise I’ve seen them at Dune last year, I think. I imagine it’s the sort of thing Kurt Geiger would do as well.

I also find that searching on John Lewis (by shoe type) gives me access to a good range of brands and different options.

The M&S ones look like they're going to be really uncomfortable and some of the reviews confirm this.

I’ve always found M&S shoes very comfortable. But it does depend on the style, and patent leather is more rigid I guess. Might be worth a try at least - I tried some very similar ones last year and they were very nice on my feet. You could always wear them at home for a few days to see how they are.

I'd just google 'platform patent brogues' and have a sift through OP, I just had s quick google and there were so many options. Dune, Boden, Hobbs, Aldo etc all have pairs that looked better quality.

I always think the flatform type of shoe looks uncomfortable regardless of the upper but I agree the M&S ones look like they'd likely rub. Structured patent is a bit of a killer.

Tbh I’d probably go for smooth leather rather than patent, just because it would be more comfortable.
