Are knee high boots dated?

Ankle boots + dresses don't suit everyone. That combo certainly doesn't suit me. Maybe it's because I am only 5.2" and carrying a little extra weight (size 10 top, 12 bottom at the moment - working on it).

I have tried with opaque tights, knee long dresses and ankle boots but it looks absolutely awful. Knee high boots, however, look pretty good on me, as long as they don't end too high up my knee (or too short on my calf) which being short is a challenge in itself.

Has anyone seen any nice knee high boots this year with a block 6cm (ish) heel and pref a platform? Cheers!

Thank you everyone. Those are gorgeous CountFosco, the heel is not high enough for me though, I need at least 6cm.

I think knee high boots with a heel (seventies style) look great and are having a real revival. They look brilliant with midi dresses and skirts.
I do think that flat or wedged knee high boots over skinny jeans look very dated now
