Beauty pie reccomendations

I signed up for Beauty Pie recently and have a £150 budget. If there is anyone else who uses it, i'd love to hear some of your recommendation s before I do my first shop.

The jeju moisturiser is currently out of stock but is awesome.

I love a thick balm cleanser so I use the plantastic one at night to remove makeup and cleanse but it might not be for everyone so if a thick cleanser isn't your thing, don't go for it. Double phase cleanser in the morning is lighter and also nice!

Super healthy skin vitamin serum is also a fave.

I personally rate the cleansing products, candles and fragrance higher than makeup and toiletries.

Lumene · 06/09/2019 19:13

The luminiser is good as a highlighter/for a fresh glow. The makeup brushes are also very good. Eyeshadow and eyeliner are fine/good.

Twerking9to5 · 06/09/2019 19:14

I love the double phase cleanser and jeju moisturiser. I’ve found the mascara and foundation excellent too!

NekoShiro · 06/09/2019 19:31

They look amazing but I can't get past the fact that they want me to pay them to be able to pay them, but only as much as they've decided I can pay them a month, unless I pay them more

Spiaggispeciale · 06/09/2019 19:44

I love Beauty Pie, in my opinion it's just got better and better. The cleansers are all fab, smell amazing and I just rotate them. Love them all.

The serums are all great, the moisturisers amazing. I have tried them all and not been disappointed. I used to spend a fortune on skincare but this is the best thing ever for me.

I've been a member since it first started and suspended my membership as I had enough makeup but then they brought out skincare and I haven't looked back.

The nail polishes are the best I've used too. They have just brought out a really good glycolic toner which `I am really impressed with, it certainly is as good as the Obagi pads I used to buy for £££s.

My latest buy is the body polish and body cream. The polish is so moisturising I haven't used the cream yet. It smells divine and leaves your skin so soft. You just have to be careful as it leaves the shower very slippy!

Theseptemberissues · 06/09/2019 19:59

I haven’t been a member long and my focus is on the skin care, have to say I love the glycolic toner, even more than my pixi glow tonic. Also the vitamin serum and vitamin c moisturiser are lovely and makeup sits well on the them. Have only tried the double phase cleanser which is nice and light but still effective. Hopefully this thread will help me decide what to get next!

Kazplus2 · 06/09/2019 20:06

Oh this is useful. Skin are is primarily my interest but maybe the odd bit of makeup too. I've got quite dry skin so all this feedback is really helpful. Re the double phase cleanser, how do you apply, with cotton wool pads?

No just massage into your skin, then wet your hands and it turns to a milk. I then use a wet flannel to remove all traces.

kmini · 06/09/2019 20:46

Really love the retinoids with ceramides, japanfusion cleanser, sheer tint oil free moisturiser. Waiting for the jeju moisturiser to come back to try it.

Awks · 06/09/2019 20:49

Japan fusion serum is ace and the lip oil gloss things are lovely too

pinacollama · 06/09/2019 20:52

I love all of the Japan Fusion range.

slipperyeel · 06/09/2019 20:53

Love the Japan cleanser and the stem cell serum.
Their eyeshadow sticks are really good too.

MakeLemonade · 06/09/2019 20:56

Big fan of Japan fusion here too and the lip gloss oils.

Awks · 06/09/2019 21:04

What's the Japanfusion moisturiser like?

XingMing · 06/09/2019 21:05

The skincare is very good; I am less sold on the cosmetics, lip and nail products are okay, but skincare is where I would spend more anyway. The shampoo and conditioner are also much better and better value than supermarket premium ranges too.

And I would never be without the One Powder Wonder compact. Don't be put off by the weird white appearance in the compact; it sets and mattifies and disappears on the skin and is wonderfully flattering on all (European) colourings.

Brush sets have been good value too, for decent quality, relative to (example) MAC.

XingMing · 06/09/2019 21:09

The Japan Fusion toner, for use before a serum, is possibly one of my favourite things. The other version, similar product, Jeju is more scented and better as a refreshing spray.

Awks · 06/09/2019 21:12

I'd forgotten about the powder wonder compact. It's brilliant, blurs all my fine eye lines and gives a nice finish to makeup

XingMing · 06/09/2019 21:20

@Awks, the JapanFusion moisturizer was fine, but I prefer Super Healthy Skin. I usually only use it at night. My skin is normal, no issues, occasionally a bit dry.

JaimeBronde · 06/09/2019 23:43

I'm a repeat buyer of their Uber Youth Super Eye Energy Peptide Infusion Cream. It's one of the best eye creams out there that doesn't cost an arm or a leg.
I also like One Powder Wonder too. Wonder Layer Diamond Powder Base Coat for nails is just as good as Essie, OPI & Mavala.
I haven't got round to trying much else yet.

Swiftier · 07/09/2019 07:17

@fabaga @kmini the Jeju moisturiser is in stock again! I also really rate it.

I like the whole Jeju and Japan Fusion ranges OP, I’d also recommend the Hyaluronic Acid serum.

fabaga · 07/09/2019 09:33

@Swiftier ahhhhhhh yay!! I've been waiting for aaages panic buys

ToftheB · 07/09/2019 09:47

I love the spf tinted moisturiser, the pink shimmerbar (which I use as a blush/highlighter combo), the superbrow colour pomade (excellent for my sparse eyebrows, with an angled brush) and the nail varnish.

From the skincare, I really like the Japanfusion cleanser and the Dr Glycolic toner. I've tried quite a few of the moisturisers and serums, and they've all been nice but not amazing (although, I'm by no means a skincare expert...)

kmini · 12/09/2019 13:13

Thanks for the heads up on jeju @Swiftier!

Anyone had any success with their concealers and primers?

yellowsun · 12/09/2019 19:59

My favourites are the retinol eye cream, Japan fusion cleanser, the lightweight shampoo and conditioner, nail varnish, powder compact and the brushes.

saucyspice · 14/09/2019 00:11

I was inspired by this thread and ended up setting up a membership and placing an order for the One powder wonder, powder setting brush facial oil and hyaluronic/peptide serum, also got some free plantastic peeling drops with a code! So excited for it to arrive, will definitely order again if it's any good.
