Best black jeans

I need some new black jeans. I like a skinny or straight leg. I also like a high waist. Hit with me with your best recommendations!

I just got some Levi's high waist straight leg jeans in HoF sale. Love them they are quite stretchy and fit well.

Honestly. I never believed the hype around ‘premium’ jeans, I thought it was all marketing. But a friend persuaded me to buy these last year. I’m not a real skinnies jean wearer, being a bit pear shaped I’m always a bit self conscious. But these are something else. I know, they’re a fortune but I feel totally amazing in them. They’re a decent good black, and the fabric sucks you in so well. I look all ‘30, no kids’. Well in my head I do. But seriously, they are so worth it IMO.
Size down one size - you need to be doing the jeans dance to get them on.

Oh god, I haven’t had J brands since 2004! I’d forgotten about them... perhaps one for the Xmas list! Thanks for the tip!

I dont see the point in buying expensive black jeans....they never look the same after the first wash.

I have some J Brand utility trousers but never tried their jeans. Now I might after reading this post!

Turn them inside out before washing them; it does help save the colour density.

I love mine from Gap. Slightly stretchy.

I’ve just bought a new pair as they have faded after 18 months but I kind of like the faded look too.

For anyone who has faded black jeans I can recommend the dylon in wash dye.

J Brand is really good quality. I've had the Kenya chinos for over ten years. They never need ironing.
