Teen boy cargo trousers

Any suggestions where I can find some cargo (aka utility / combat) trousers without a drawstring waist?
15 yo DS has been told by the girl he likes that they are the thing to wear, so can't argue with that. He is a bit too short for adult ranges.

Have you tried the Scout shop? Or army cadets/CCF suppliers. They all have cargo trousers in various lengths which are definitely not drawstring waist. DS1 lived in them at that age.

Maybe Go outdoors or mountain warehouse?

You want 5.11 Tactical Apex trousers. Very comfortable and will last a long time. A bit pricey but they are worth it. You can find them on Amazon or ebay. If you can't find them in the right size, there are cheaper versions made in china also available on Amazon. Asian sizes tend to be smaller so you may have better luck.

Don't get army trousers, they won't have the effect you are after.
