Face mask recommendations?

I need to add a possibly weekly face mask to my routine. Preferably natural and definitely not in a plastic pot. I have fairly normal skin but I'm prone to big pores and therefore blackheads. Any ideas?

I like lush masks, the fresh and non fresh, mask of magneminty and oatafix are my favs, plastic pot HOWEVER you return 5 and get a free mask, they are reused.

I did try a fresh lush one a few years ago. I liked it but didn't use it all up before it went off!

I LOVE the Antipodes Manuka Honey Mask. It's organic and natural, and made with good quality ingredients. And it smells nice. And my skin feels lovely afterwards.

Another vote for the Antipodes mask, it's gorgeous

It sounds good but I'm really hoping to reduce my plastic waste.

The only plastic is the screw top. The tube is metal.

Aesop is outstanding but very expensive. I love the Andalou Naturals Pumpkin Enzyme Mask. Great results from that one for symptoms you’ve described, but it has a plastic lid. The jar is glass. (Both are totally recyclable where I live, though...)
I would be more inclined to get some reusable, washable bamboo rounds (not cotton face pads) and get a natural salicylic toner. Sounds like you need a gentle combo of AHA and BHA to clear your pores inside & out without stripping your skin!

Sorry I hadn't realised it was a metal tube Blush. Thank you just. I think I'm a bit rubbish with skin care.

Aesop products are lovely but they're not all natural (if that's a criteria).

Glamglow mud mask is good for clearing pores

Leftielefterson · 08/09/2019 13:25

Aesop and omorovicza are my faves

Have you also thought about ordering your own clay and making your own masks? There are many recipes online and if you order dry ingredients they last longer, eliminate the need for plastic packaging, etc. You can often buy them from stores that allow you to take your own packaging.
